“Why would put your marketing campaign poster all over New York City?” - Erika never got to have a art show. The world never really got to read her poetry. Only a select few ever had the pleasure to read it from her childhood. Where Erika came from, it’s a dream to go to the big apple in the summer and look at art museums, watch the greatest shows on Broadway, listen to the coolest bands in venues and bars. For those teenagers that use poetry and music for their escape in their daily struggles on this planet, we just hope they get a chance to walk by one of Erika’s poems hangin up in a city with some of the most iconic art blast throughout the concrete jungle, and find 5 minutes of peace while reading her poems. “New York City is the brightest city in America at night. Where ever you are baby sister, you’ll be able to see your art from its lights.”
