New "Made in America" New Balance Sweat Suit Collection

The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 was showcased on the hardwood back in 1988. But do you know why this mid cut basketball silhouette goes down as a icon in basketball footwear history??? Back in 1988 Michael Jordan was over Nike, the Jordan 2.. well let’s just say it. Was kinda trash.. as Michael was about to leave the swoosh and go else where, he met a new homie by the name of Tinker Hatfield. Tinker showed Michael the Air Alpha Force he had just designed, MJ loved it! Loved it so much he wore this for the first time ever in 1988 in a game against the New York Knicks on January 30th. MJ got the W that night with 28pts. One week later,February 7th MJ flew thru the “AIR” like a fighter jet and did the unthinkable an jumped from the free throw line and jammed a basketball thru the hoop wearing the brand new Air Jordan 3 which was famously designed by non other - Tinker Hatfield, Of course his airiness won the dunk contest that year. Meeting the mastermind architect “Tinker” and him giving the Air Alpha Force played a major role in the legacy of footwear MJ played in. Thanks Tinker! You’re a real one for that!

In honor of the Adidas x UNheardof 'Erika's Poem' Release, UNheardof and Adidas decided to team up once more to help raise mental health awareness with at risk kids from local schools and the Children's Home. The event was held at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. Phil Lipschutz (owner of UNheardof) spoke with the children and had constructive conversations that covered some difficult topics relating to Mental health awareness. Along side the conversations each kid received a pair of 'Erika's Poem' early before they released, complementary from UNheardof. Following the conversations, Unheardof held a workshop for the kids. The workshop allowed the kids to design their own Adidas shoe while they enjoyed pizza, cookies, and soft drinks. A lucky few kids might even see their Adidas design come to life ;-). Adidas topped off the event by donating a backpack and t-shirt to each child. If you would like to make a contribution to the children's home please visit their website at www.chnk.org
